Magaly Melendez

Magaly Melendez, CPA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at GUT since September 2023. Previously, Magaly held the position of SVP, Finance Director at Conill/Saatchi & Saatchi from July 2006 to September 2023, managing overall agency P&L budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and leading operational transactions. Prior experience includes serving as Controller at Badillo Saatchi & Saatchi from 2000 to June 2006, focusing on operational results and financial reporting, and as Director at the PR Traffic Safety Commission from 1998 to 2000, where responsibilities included leading public safety campaigns and managing federal budget funds. Magaly started the career at Ernst & Young from 1994 to 1998 as a Senior Auditor, overseeing full audit engagements for various industries. Magaly holds a Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting from Universidad de Puerto Rico, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
