David Cameron Smith

David Cameron Smith has a diverse work experience in various library and education roles. David Cameron most recently served as the Director at Guthrie Public Library. Prior to that, they worked at Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma County in roles such as Engagement Manager, Access Services Manager, Lead Librarian, and Librarian. David Cameron also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, and as a Substitute Teacher at SubTeach USA. Earlier in their career, David worked as a Session Employee at Arkansas Bureau of Legislative Research.

David Cameron Smith completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2001. David Cameron later went on to earn a Doctor of Law degree from Louisiana State University in 2004. In 2009, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Finally, in 2014, they completed a Master of Library & Information Science degree from the University of Oklahoma, specializing in Library and Information Science.
