Jacob Hopson

Jacob Hopson currently serves as the Assistant to the Managing Director at Guthrie Theater since March 2023. Previously, Jacob held the position of Beverage Manager at ie Italian Eatery from November 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing beverage programs across two restaurants in South Minneapolis. Prior to that role, Jacob was the General Manager at Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar from April 2018 to November 2021, managing all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, while also serving as Assistant Manager, focusing on bar operations and daily restaurant activities. Jacob's career began as a Bartender/Server at PICASSO'S PIZZA & GRILL, INC. from September 2017 to April 2018. Educationally, Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Acting and Directing from Iowa State University, completed in May 2017.
