Sarah Tong

Sarah Tong has a diverse work experience in the fields of product design, web development, and branding. In their most recent role at Guusto, they served as a Senior Product Designer & Web Developer, leading the design overhaul of a rewards and recognition platform, improving the web and app experience, and proposing new feature designs. Sarah also played a key role in building and mentoring the design team, while supporting interns in their professional and personal development. Prior to this, Sarah worked as a Product Designer & Web Developer Co-op at Guusto, where they independently revamped the marketing website and redesigned the product experience of the recognition platform. Sarah has also gained experience as a Freelance Web Design + Branding Freelancer, where they enhanced web presences for clients through developing new websites and refining existing ones. Furthermore, they have worked as a Design Intern at Dossier Creative, creating brand identities and developing various digital and print assets for clients in the social impact space. During their time at Simon Fraser University, Sarah served as a Communications & Marketing Assistant, where they promoted international internships, created visual and written content, and improved information accessibility on the International Co-op website. Additionally, they participated as a competitor in the Elite Case Competition at Simon Fraser University.

Sarah Tong attended Simon Fraser University from 2012 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. Sarah'sjoint major was in Business and Interactive Arts & Technology with a Design Concentration.
