Artur Michalak

Artur Michalak has extensive work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Artur started their career at Polish Re in 1998, where they held various roles including Underwriter Assistant, Underwriter, Senior Underwriter, Area Manager for EU and South-Eastern Europe, Deputy Director of Reinsurance Department, and finally Director of EU and South-Eastern Europe Department/Underwriting Director. In 2014, Artur joined Guy Carpenter as Senior Vice President of the CEE Broking Team, focusing on developing and servicing clients in the CEE region. Artur also co-founded Data Zoom in the same year.

Artur Michalak obtained a Master's degree in Finance and Banking from SGH Warsaw School of Economics between 1997 and 2002. Prior to that, they also achieved a Master's degree in Slavic Philology from the University of Warsaw between 1994 and 1999.
