Bernardo Bergalli Richero

Bernardo Bergalli Richero is an experienced leader in the reinsurance industry, currently serving as CEO of Guy Carpenter Chile since June 2011, where also holds the position of Managing Director and Head of Broking. Prior roles at Guy Carpenter include Senior Vice President positions in multiple areas related to Treaty & Facultative and New Business Development. Previously, Bernardo held the role of Reinsurance Manager at Conosur Corredores de Seguros y Reaseguros, and worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as Property & Engineer Lines Manager. Bernardo's extensive experience also encompasses significant positions at AIG and Schmidt Empresa Constructora, alongside an early career start at Administracion Nacional de Puertos. Bernardo holds a degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering from the Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de la Republica del Uruguay and a scientific baccalaureate with an engineering focus from Instituto Crandon.
