Francesca Terenzi

Francesca Terenzi is a seasoned professional in catastrophe modeling and risk management, currently serving as Senior Vice-President and Operations and Program Manager for Global Model Solutions and Advisory at Guy Carpenter since September 2021. Prior to this role, Francesca was the Catastrophe Modeling Lead at QOMPLX from September 2020 to July 2021. Francesca's extensive experience at RMS from June 2009 to August 2020 included positions such as Staff Program Manager (Technical) and Senior Principal Catastrophe Risk Modeler, focusing on model development and integration of catastrophe risk models, particularly for East Asia typhoons. Francesca holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, as well as a Master's degree in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
