Philip Doyle

Philip Doyle, CPA, CA has worked in various roles in the financial services industry. Philip started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008, where they served as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate until 2013. Philip then joined BDO Ireland as an Audit Senior for two years before moving to FFH Management Services in 2015. At FFH, Philip worked as a Financial Accountant, performing financial reporting, budgeting, and due diligence assignments. Philip also played a key role in improving processes and reports for quarterly reporting. In 2017, Philip joined The Pacific Insurance Berhad as a Senior Manager, overseeing reinsurance and accounting projects. Philip contributed to quarterly re-forecasts, reviewed annual financial statements, and provided technical training to enhance cohesion across teams. Currently, Philip is working at Guy Carpenter as Vice President, IFRS 17 Lead, Strategic Advisory Asia-Pacific, where they are responsible for leading IFRS 17 initiatives and providing strategic advisory services.

Philip Doyle, CPA, CA holds a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo, which they obtained in 2011. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Honours Mathematics/Chartered Accountancy - Corporate Finance Option, also at the University of Waterloo. Philip has also obtained additional certifications, including Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in 2013, and Data Science certifications from HarvardX in 2020.
