William Eyre

William (Bill) Eyre is a seasoned professional in the reinsurance and risk management sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at Guy Carpenter since May 2019, where responsibilities include transitioning colleagues and clients post-JLT acquisition and managing both existing and new client opportunities. Previously, William held the position of Vice Chairman North America at JLT Group from November 2013 to March 2019, playing a key role in acquiring Towers Watson's reinsurance division and expanding client relations in the US and Canada. His career began at Chubb as an Underwriter and progressed through various leadership roles at Willis Towers Watson, culminating in the roles of Managing Director and CEO. William holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Williams College, earned between 1969 and 1973.
