Russ Phillips

Russ Phillips has extensive work experience in the field of geology. In 2010, they worked as a Geology Field Assistant for Integra Mining Limited, where they collected and analyzed drill cores taken from locations surrounding a gold mine, prepared and performed field tests on cores, and monitored and recorded water levels in observation boreholes. In 2011, they worked as a Geology Field Assistant for Sabina Gold & Silver Corp., where they prepared and performed tests on cores, identified mineral samples/collected, marked GPS waypoints and assisted the Geologist in mapping, and received drilling core samples from helicopter. In 2012, they worked as a Geology Summer Student for Talisman Energy, Exploration Quality Team, where they collected and analyzed field, reservoir, and well data along the deep water West African Margin, analyzed reserves (mmboe), column height, reservoir properties, constructed map-based database describing play type and field/reservoir properties for West African margin, and summarized play types along the margin from Sierra Leone to Benin. In 2015, they worked as a Junior Geologist for Aurora Geosciences Ltd. In 2016, they worked as a Geologist for Osisko Mining and as a Geolgical Lab Assistant for Trican Well Service Ltd. In 2017, they worked as a Field Communication Technician for Benchmark Data Solutions. Since 2018, they have worked as an Account Executive and Account Manager - Sales for LMKR, and as Director of Sales - Canada, Alaska and Western Europe and Account Executive for GVERSE GeoGraphix.

Russ Phillips attended the University of Alberta from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a BA in Economics with a focus in Finance and Banking. Russ then returned to the University of Alberta from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a BSc in Geology.
