GVS Filter Technology
Felipe Varela Corredor is an accomplished Chemical Engineer with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Research and Development Project Manager at GVS Filter Technology since February 2022, Felipe's prior roles include a Research Fellow at Università di Bologna, where a project for SAIPEM S.P. was developed, and an Assistant Research Scientist at Centro de investigaciones Cauca Seco, focusing on the extraction and applications of capsaicinoids from tabasco chilli pepper. Additional experience includes quality assurance at Quala Alimentos and research assistance at the University of Bologna, where projects centered on the valorization of olive mill wastewater were conducted. Felipe holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and an Engineer's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
