Matthias Wächter

Matthias Wächter serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Authority Person at GW Cosmetics GmbH since December 2013, leading operations, purchasing, quality management, and regulatory affairs. With a strong focus on the strategic development of operational departments and lean management systems, Matthias has also held roles as Associate Operations Manager and Head of Quality Management & Regulatory Affairs, overseeing a team and enhancing processes within the cosmetics production sector. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Production at Riviera, where management of a production and procurement team took place, along with a research associate position at Baxter. Matthias holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in General Management from California Lutheran University and a DI in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from IMC Krems University.
