Devon Patterson

Devon Patterson's work experience includes serving as a Sustaining Project Engineer II at G&W Electric Co. since December 2021. They also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Joliet Junior College starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Mechanical Designer at Metropolitan Industries, Inc. from October 2014 until December 2021, where they were responsible for designing and producing mechanical fabrication drawings and creating comprehensive bill of materials for custom water systems. Devon also has experience as an Automotive Technician/Manager at Frankie and Johnnies Garage from June 2011 until October 2014.

Devon Patterson's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Management and Applied Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, which they obtained from 2015 to 2018. During the same period, they also earned a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma from the same university. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, Devon attended Joliet Junior College, where they completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology/Technician. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from Joliet Junior College, which they received from 2011 to 2014.

Devon Patterson also possesses several certifications in Lean Six Sigma. Devon holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification obtained in March 2021, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification obtained in March 2021, a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification obtained in February 2021, and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification obtained in February 2021. These certifications were obtained from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).
