John Hussey has a solid work experience, beginning with their role as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Calvary Automation in 2012 and 2013. Then, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Springboard Engineering Solutions from 2013 to 2015, where they were responsible for assisting engineers in product development through 3D design, rapid prototyping, and testing.
In 2015, John joined Greenlee as part of their Engineering Development Program, where they gained experience in various roles, including New Product Development Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Value Engineering. John designed innovative parts and assemblies using Solidworks 3D modeling software and utilized Finite Element Analysis to optimize design and material properties.
From 2018 to 2020, John worked as a Manufacturing Engineer II at Greenlee, responsible for implementing new products, redesigning layouts, and managing automation projects. John successfully led and supported the implementation of automation projects, including a $500k project from RFQ to implementation.
Currently, John is serving as a Manufacturing Engineer II at G&W Electric Co. since 2020. In this role, they are responsible for implementing new products, designing fixturing, and managing automation projects for the Epoxy Molding Division.
