Karla Trost

Karla Trost has over 20 years of work experience. Karla started their career at Microswitch as an Applications Engineer from 1997 to 2000. After that, they joined Honeywell Sensing and Control as a Sales Engineer, Product Manager Assistant, and Application Engineer from 1997 to 2000. Since 2001, Karla has been with G&W Electric Company, starting as the Director of Global Product Realization from January 9, 2018, to January 27, 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Global Program Management, leading NPD projects and overseeing resources, methodologies, and project development.

Karla Trost completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Karla has obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2018, they earned certification in Advanced Product Quality Planning from Illinois BIS. Karla also obtained certification in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis from the same institution in 2018. In 2017, Karla obtained certification in Measuring & Managing Customer Satisfaction from QualityW. In 2016, they completed the Leading Breakthrough Innovators certification from Illinois BIS. Karla also obtained certification in Maximizing Your Leadership Potential from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2015. In 2012, they completed the Managing Product Design and Development certification from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
