Nicholas Steers has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Nicholas started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at General Refrigeration Mechanical Services in 2018. Nicholas then interned as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at General Mechanical Services in 2019 and later joined the company as a full-time Mechanical Engineer in 2020. In the same year, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the Industrial Assessment Center at Case Western Reserve University. In 2021, they took on a Project Engineering Internship at Valmont Industries, Inc. Nicholas'smost recent role is Research Intern at the Thin Film Photovoltaic Group at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2022. Currently, they are working as a Product Engineer I at G&W Electric Co. since 2023.

Nicholas Steers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 2015 to 2020. In 2019, they also took courses in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. More recently, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Advanced Manufacturing Systems - Interdisciplinary and Innovative Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
