Greg Shumate

Greg Shumate serves as the CEO and Managing Partner at Capital City Home Loans, LLC, a position held since August 2006. In addition to this role, Shumate actively participates on the Board of Directors for several organizations, including Warrick Dunn Communities, Georgia Gwinnett College, Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia, and Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, among others. Previously, Shumate held the position of Past President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia and has extensive experience in leadership roles, including Senior Vice President at Opteum Financial Services and Vice President at both Premier Lending Corporation and Prime Bank. Shumate earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University, where studies were completed between 1980 and 1984.
