Joe Sorenson

Joe Sorenson serves as the Communications Director for Gwinnett County Government, a position held since June 1991, where strategic communication initiatives are directed, personnel are led, and the department budget is managed. Previously, Joe held several roles within Gwinnett County Government, including Multimedia and Web Communications Manager, Video Production Manager, Video Producer, and Production Assistant/Video Editor, where significant contributions were made to video production, multimedia creation, and the establishment of county communication channels. Joe's earlier experience includes freelance video production for Gwinnett County Public Schools, partnership in A is A/V Video Production, and serving as a Media Assistant at The University of Georgia. Joe earned an ABJ degree in Journalism from The University of Georgia in 1991.
