Rachel Jones

Rachel Jones is a seasoned water resources professional with extensive experience in stormwater management and project planning. Currently serving as the Section Manager for Stormwater Capital Planning at Gwinnett County Government, Rachel is responsible for identifying and developing capital improvement projects related to stormwater infrastructure. Prior to this role, Rachel worked at AECOM as a Senior Water Resources Engineer, focusing on water resources planning and compliance with municipal regulations. Experience also includes positions at Hazen and Sawyer and Jacobs Engineering, where Rachel managed various hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects, floodplain analyses, and contributed to stormwater master planning efforts. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from The University of Georgia.
