May Masaoy

May Masaoy has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, primarily focused on legal affairs and leasing. May started their career in 2002 as an Administrative Assistant at CREIT Management Limited, where they provided support to the Assistant Vice President and Legal Services Manager. May drafted various lease-related documents and conducted background and credit checks on prospective tenants.

In 2003, May joined O&Y Enterprise as an Administrative Assistant in Leasing Legal Services. May continued to draft leases, amendments, and offers to lease while supporting the Director and Law Clerks in the department.

May then joined Brookfield Properties in 2005 as a Junior Leasing Clerk, providing support to legal counsel and the manager. Their responsibilities included preparing lease and other legal documents, processing legal documents, and maintaining the database.

Since 2007, May has been working at GWL Realty Advisors as a Senior Manager in Legal Affairs. Their main duties include drafting, negotiating, and completing lease and lease-related documentation for various assets managed by GWLRA. May also acts on the tenant's behalf, negotiating and completing lease documentation for The Canada Life Assurance Company. Additionally, May mentors and guides junior law clerks.

Throughout their career, May has demonstrated expertise in lease management, legal document preparation, and providing support to leasing teams.

May Masaoy has a diverse education history. In 1997, they earned an HBSc. degree in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College. In 1999, they obtained a Certificate in Art Fundamentals from Sheridan College. In 2001, May Masaoy completed a Diploma in Graphic Design from George Brown College. In 2005, they obtained an ILCO Certificate in Law Clerk from George Brown College Continuing Education. Finally, from 2010 to 2012, they attended the Ontario Real Estate Association, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
