Senior Engineer at G. W. Lisk

Joshua Welker began their work experience in 2007 at Rolls-Royce as a Mechanical Engineer II. In this role, they designed, tested, and manufactured steam generator secondary side visual inspection equipment and custom robotic tooling. Joshua also participated in various steam generator inspections during power plant outage cycles and acted as the lead investigator for corrective action reports. Additionally, they wrote published technical reports, created procedures, and aided in the design and qualification of tooling for EPRI and the U.S. Government. In 2015, they transitioned to GW Lisk as a Product Engineer, where they were responsible for current production EGR exhaust valves and led portions of the APQP process. Joshua utilized Six Sigma tools and practices to improve process flow and quality. In 2018, Joshua became a Senior Engineer at GW Lisk, managing the development of coolant control valves, oil control valves, and exhaust valves for new product applications. Joshua also had responsibility for current production EGR exhaust valves and was knowledgeable in the NPDP/Stage-gate process for product development.

Joshua Welker attended Penn State University from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
