Nandini Venkata is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and advocacy within the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Communications Officer at GWNET, Nandini focuses on empowering women in energy through networking and mentoring initiatives. Additional roles include volunteering as an Online Magazine Editor for TEDxVienna and TEDAI Vienna, where emphasis is placed on reporting trends in science and innovation. Nandini's previous experience includes a Marketing Communications Associate position at eevie, a climate tech startup, and significant roles at Caixin Global as a Senior Podcast Producer and Podcast Producer, where multiple podcast projects were managed. Nandini also contributed to the Beijing Women's Network and held internship positions at the GIZ and the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Afghanistan. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy from WU Vienna and a Bachelor of Arts in French and History from the University of Leeds.
