Alan McConnell

Alan McConnell has extensive experience in coaching and player development within the Australian Football League (AFL), currently serving as the AFLW Head Coach and Female Academy Development Manager at GWS Giants since November 2014. Previously, Alan held various roles at GWS Giants from July 2009 to 2014, including Senior Assistant Coach, Forwards Coach, and High Performance Manager. Alan's educational background includes participation in the Oxford Executive Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, along with degrees in Advanced Diploma of Business Management from Yale University and a Bachelor of Education in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from State College of Victoria.
