Dana Dolan

Dana Dolan, Ph.D., is a distinguished public policy researcher and educator with extensive experience at George Mason University and George Washington University since May 2017. Specializing in Kingdon’s Multiple Streams Framework and Big-Q qualitative methods, Dana focuses on the dynamics of long-term policy challenges in various academic roles, including Professorial Lecturer in International Affairs at the Elliott School. Prior experience includes positions as an Adjunct Professor, Policy Fellow, Visiting Research Scholar at the Australian National University, and NSF EAPSI Fellow at the National Science Foundation. Dana's career also encompasses significant roles in industry and federal government consulting, including research and development positions at USPS and High Performance Technologies, Inc. Dana holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from George Mason University, alongside a Master of Science in Information Systems and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Business from Wake Forest University.
