Doug Evans

Doug Evans is an experienced public health professional with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director of the Behavioral Research Insights and diGital Health Technology (BRIGHT) Institute at The George Washington University since June 2008, Doug also holds the title of Professor, where responsibilities include conducting sponsored public health research and teaching graduate courses. Prior roles include Division Vice President at RTI International, where leadership involved overseeing a research division with over 120 staff and managing a budget exceeding $33 million. Additionally, Doug served as Managing Director at the American Institutes for Research and as Research Officer at the Academy for Educational Development. Doug holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Psychology from Reed College.
