Idris Hooper

Idris Hooper is a Senior Lab Biosafety Specialist at The George Washington University, currently maintaining laboratory safety programs and supporting research safety improvement efforts. With previous experience at American Gene Technologies International Inc. as a Senior Associate Scientist and at BNBI as a Research Associate II, Idris has a strong background in biodefense research and development. As a former Adjunct Professor at Northern Virginia Community College, Idris also has experience in teaching biology courses and curriculum development. With a Master of Science in Biology from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Idris' expertise lies in biological sciences and laboratory safety measures.
