Miki Goerdt Lcsw

Miki Goerdt LCSW, ATR-BC is a seasoned mental health professional and owner of Emerald Leaf Counseling LLC since August 2019, where Miki provides psychotherapy. In addition, Miki serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at The George Washington University and previously held a similar position at George Mason University from January 2018 to September 2021, instructing in the Master of Social Work program. Miki's prior experience includes work as a Mental Health Counselor at VITAL PSYCHIATRY ASSOCIATES LLC from January 2018 to August 2019 and as a Mental Health Therapist with Arlington County Aging and Disability Services Division from March 2009 to December 2017. Miki holds a Master of Social Work degree from Marywood University, attained in 2004, along with an Art therapy certification, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Art from Wartburg College, completed in 2002.
