Mya O. Price

Mya O. Price, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and leader in the fields of food systems, sustainability, and health equity. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The George Washington University and President of The Root Cause Coalition, Mya is dedicated to advancing research and addressing social determinants of health. Mya has held various significant roles at Feeding America, including Director of the Food Security Equity Impact Fund, where extensive community engagement efforts were key to enhancing food security initiatives. With a Ph.D. in Urban Leadership & Entrepreneurship from the University of the District of Columbia and a background in community and leadership development, Mya continues to contribute meaningfully to critical community programs and academic discourse.
