Timothy Singer is a Resident in Neurological Surgery at The George Washington University since June 2022 and is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Surgical Data Science Collective. Previously, Timothy served as a General Surgery Resident at UCLA Health and as a Resident Physician focused on Global Child Health at Baylor College of Medicine, working at Texas Children’s Hospital. As a co-founder of Health-PACT, Timothy played a key role in raising over $100,000 to establish the first private medical school and teaching hospital in Rwanda. Educational background includes an MD and MS from Stanford University School of Medicine, a B.A. in History and Environment and Technology Studies from Carleton College, as well as foundational education at Kent School. Early experiences include roles as a Research Technologist at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a Sustainability Research Fellow in Mali, along with involvement in political campaigns as a Field Organizer and Intern.
