Peggy Kerr

Peggy Kerr, Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor at Gwynedd Mercy University since June 2020, focusing on the doctorate in higher education program with an emphasis on the teaching and learning track, while also providing dissertation advisement and conducting scholarly research. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at Elizabethtown College from August 2016 to June 2020, where responsibilities included supervising faculty and overseeing curriculum. From June 2004 to August 2016, Peggy held the role of Dean of the Division of General Education at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, managing general education outcomes and courses. Earlier positions include Staff Educator at Lancaster General Health, Director of Community Systems Development for Special Kids Network, and Public Health Program Administrator at the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master’s degree in health education from Penn State University.
