George Makaye, CISSP

George Makaye, CISSP, has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. George began their career as a printer technician at HBR Technologies in 2000 and quickly advanced to the role of Senior System Engineer. During their time at HBR Technologies, George demonstrated their passion for assisting small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in navigating complex technology. In 2005, they co-founded GXA, an outsourced IT services company based in Dallas-Fort Worth, where they served as the President and CEO until December 2020. GXA provided a wide range of IT support services and CIO-level consulting to businesses in the area. In 2018, George founded Makaye InfoSec, where they currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer. Makaye InfoSec focuses on helping organizations protect their data and mitigate cyber risks in today's digital marketplace. With their extensive experience and expertise, George Makaye is well-equipped to provide strategic IT guidance and cybersecurity solutions to businesses.

George Makaye, CISSP, completed their education history with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Moi University, which they obtained between 1992 and 1998. In 2004, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)². In 2019 and 2020, they attended the Tony Robbins Platinum Program to further enhance their skills in Business and Personal Mastery.
