Brian Carmichael

Brian Carmichael, MBA has a substantial work experience in various roles and industries. Brian currently serves as the Vice President of Security at GXO Logistics, Inc. since August 2021. Before that, they worked as an Executive Director at XPO Logistics, Inc. from August 2019 to August 2021.

Prior to their roles in the logistics sector, they held positions in risk management in both the public and private sectors. Brian was the Senior Risk Manager at the City of Surprise from May 2017 to August 2021 and also served as the Risk Manager from May 2015 to May 2017.

Brian's experience in risk management also extends to their previous role as the Administrator/Risk Management at Southwest Gas Corporation, where they worked from March 2007 to May 2015.

Additionally, Brian has a background in law enforcement in the City of Phoenix. Brian worked as a Police Sergeant from February 2001 to March 2007 and prior to that, they served as a Police Officer from May 1996 to February 2001.

Brian Carmichael earned a bachelor's degree in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1995. Brian also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on International Business from Columbia Southern University between 2012 and 2014.
