Ian Carruthers

Ian Carruthers has extensive experience in logistics and distribution, having served as a Distribution Supervisor at Road & Sea Express from 1989 to 1994, where they managed collections and deliveries for blue-chip clients. They held roles in HM Forces Logistics Corps from 1986 to 1989 and worked as a Distribution & Operations Manager at Hays Chemical Distribution from 1994 to 2000, overseeing significant operational budgets and logistics responsibilities. From 2007 to 2019, Ian was a Business Unit Director and General Manager at Wincanton, managing a national gases contract with substantial operational oversight. Currently, Ian is the General Manager at GXO Logistics, Inc. since 2019. Ian also attended Henley Management College in 1997.
