Jimmy Shafer

Jimmy Shafer is an accomplished professional in solutions engineering with extensive experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Solutions Engineering at GXO Logistics, Inc., since June 2025, Jimmy has previously held senior leadership roles at NFI and DB Schenker, among others. Notable positions include Senior Vice President of Solutions Design & Engineering at NFI, VP of Solutions & Engineering at DB Schenker, and VP of Operations and AVP of Engineering & Process at Matson Logistics. With a strong foundation in engineering, evidenced by a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Supply Chain from Texas Christian University, Jimmy combines technical expertise with strategic vision to drive operational excellence.
