Michael Aldrich, MBA, CPSM has extensive experience in supply chain management and operations. Michael currently serves as the Vice President Inventory Control - Americas at GXO Logistics, Inc., where they lead enterprise inventory control across 285 distribution centers in the Americas. In this role, they are responsible for policy development, audit, and ensuring operational excellence and accuracy of $18 billion in managed assets. Prior to joining GXO Logistics, Inc., they held the position of Executive Vice President - Operations and Supply Chain at Penn Power Group On-Highway. Michael has also worked as a Supply Chain Consultant at BLUE ORIGIN and held several supply chain management roles at Penn Power Group. Earlier in their career, they served as the Integrated Logistics Division Manager at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and as the Director of Supply Chain and Financial (Budget) Management in the US Navy. Michael has also worked as a Supply Chain- Strategic Sourcing Consultant at Sprint Nextel and as a Principal- Aircraft Carrier Logistics (MRO Support Head) in the US Navy. Additionally, they served as an Executive Assistant at NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) and as a Logistics Lead at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in budget management, strategic sourcing, and operational excellence in supply chain operations.
Michael Aldrich has a strong education history, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, and Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Michael then pursued a certification in Acquisition Logistics and Program Management from Defense Acquisition University from 2005 to 2007. Later on, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Kansas from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Michael has obtained several certifications, including a Lean-Six Sigma Green Belt from General Electric (GE) in 2006 and a CPSM- Certified Professional in Supply Management from the Institute for Supply Management in 2015.
