Alex WU FAN has had a varied career in software engineering. In 2022, they began working as a Full Stack Engineer, Back-end oriented at Gymlib. In 2020, they began working at Koober as a Full Stack Engineer, Back-end oriented, where they were responsible for infrastructure management, backend services implementation, and transitioning from Symfony to Node.js. That same year, they began working at Euler Hermes as a Backend API Developer. In 2017, they began working at SoftAtHome as a Cloud Backend Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing cloud applications in Node.js and Java, designing micro-services, and communicating via Kafka and Redis event stream. Alex also completed an internship at Gemalto in 2017, where they were responsible for microservices deployment for IoT security and private blockchain development. In 2016, they completed an internship at the Cork Institute of Technology, where they were responsible for the design, test, and validation of an electronic circuit to control a RGB led wirelessly, the development of a driver to control the color level of the RGB led, the implementation of an HCI web application to control the color level with a tablet, and validation tests to verify the correct operation of the overall system.
