Bart Halasa, CPA, CA, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Finance at Gyptech since March 2024. Prior to this role, Bart held the position of Director of Finance at Newlook Capital from December 2022 to March 2024, and served as Director of Corporate Finance at Spark Power from March 2022 to December 2022. Bart's experience also includes roles as Controller at The JNE Group of Companies and as Senior Advisor, Financial Planning & Analysis at Hamilton Health Sciences. From June 2013 to June 2017, Bart worked in various capacities at FENGATE - Real Asset Investments, including Senior Manager and Corporate Finance Manager. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Accountant at KPMG and a Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young. Bart holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the DeGroote School of Business - McMaster University, obtained in December 2022, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from McMaster University, completed in 2009.
