Baohua Sun

Baohua Sun has had a long and successful career in the tech industry. Starting in 2007 as a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University, Sun then moved to University of Florida as a Research Assistant in 2010. In 2014, Sun was a Senior Architect Engineer at LSI, an Avago Technologies Company. In 2015, Sun held two positions simultaneously, a Lead Risk Analyst at PayPal and a Senior Data Scientist at Seagate Technology. In 2016, Sun was a Research Scientist of Artificial Intelligence at CMTI Research Center. Finally, since 2017, Sun has been the Vice President of Application Development at Gyrfalcon Technology Inc., where they have led a team to build software-hardware total solutions and deliver products, collaborated with different teams across the company, and launched AI solutions to customers.

Baohua Sun received a Bachelor's degree in EE from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2006. Baohua then went on to obtain their Master's degree in EE from Tsinghua University in 2010. Finally, in 2013, they earned their PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Florida. In addition, Baohua Sun has obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning in the Enterprise from Coursera in 2023, Leadership in the 21st Century from Wharton Online in 2022, Feature Engineering from Coursera in 2022, Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation from Coursera in 2022, Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure from Coursera in 2022, Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Coursera in 2021, How Google does Machine Learning from Coursera in 2021, and Launching into Machine Learning from Coursera in 2021.
