Dawn Ibraham

Dawn Ibraham has been working in the field of accounting for over twenty years. Dawn began their career at Goldstein Golub Kessler, LLP, where they worked as a staff accountant. During their time there, they audited and reviewed financial statements for both small privately owned companies and large publicly traded corporations. Dawn also assisted the tax department in preparing corporate tax forms.

In 2005, Dawn left Goldstein Golub Kessler to start their own accounting firm, Ibraham & Associates, PC. As office manager, they were responsible for hiring and managing employees, preparing weekly payroll and all payroll tax forms, and managing all bookkeeping through Quickbooks. Dawn also created and maintained escrow account ledgers, coordinated closings with lenders and borrowers, and prepared HUD forms and net mortgage proceeds.

Dawn is currently the controller at Gyrodyne. In this position, they are responsible for all aspects of the company's accounting and finance operations.

Dawn Ibraham has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Adelphi University and an Associate of Science (AS) in Accounting from Nassau Community College.

Dawn Ibraham reports to Gary Fitlin, CEO, President, CFO & Treasurer. They are on a team with Patricia Lara - Bookkeeper, Peter Pitsiokos - EVP, COO, CCO & Corporate Secretary.
