Kevin W. Bruny

Kevin W. Bruny, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as the Director and Chief Learning Officer for Chesterfield County Government since March 2000. In this role, Kevin oversees the Learning & Performance Center, focusing on developing and implementing strategic performance solutions and fostering relationships with stakeholders. Additional roles include Strategic Advisor at Gyrus Systems and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Richmond, where knowledge in human resource development is imparted to students. Prior experience includes significant positions in human resources at SunTrust and Chesterfield County, with a solid educational background containing a Master’s in Adult Learning and Human Resource Development from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
