João Magalhães

João Magalhães has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. João has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise and leadership in finance, operations, and business development. In their most recent role as Vice President - Mobility at H.B. Fuller, they oversaw the Automotive, Aerospace, Bonding Agents, and BTRS segments and was a member of the global leadership team. Prior to this, they served as the Director of the Portuguese entities at H.B. Fuller and also held positions such as Vice President - Global Woodworking and Composites, Global Business Director - Woodworking and Composites, and Business Director - Durable Assembly at the same company. João also gained valuable experience as the President of HB Fuller Adhesives France SAS and Head of Integration of Royal Adhesives in HB Fuller EIMEA. Before joining H.B. Fuller, they held significant positions at SONAE - MDS PARTNERS, where they contributed to the development of the insurance agents and partner's network in Portugal and led strategic M&A and financial operations. Additionally, they have served as the Financial Manager at Tavanares. João Magalhães has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive business growth, develop partnerships, and lead cross-functional teams throughout their career.

João Magalhães has a diverse education history. João pursued an Executive MBA from the London Business School from 2014 to 2015. In 2021, they enrolled in the Carlson Executive Education program at the University of Minnesota, where they studied Business Administration and Management through the VISTA Leadership Academy. Later in 2022, they further enhanced their skills in negotiations by completing a program called "Negotiation Dynamics" at INSEAD. João Magalhães has also completed various other educational programs, including "Achieving Strategic Agility" at the London Business School in 2021, "Management - Advanced Development Program" at the London Business School in 2007, and "Audit and Management Control Graduation / Pós-Graduação Auditoria e Controlo de Gestão" at Católica Porto Business School in 2004-2005. Additionally, they hold a Graduation in Insurance and Pensions Funds Management from Universidade de Barcelona e Instituto Actuarial and a degree in Management from Faculdade de Economia do Porto - Universidade do Porto, which they obtained from 1997 to 2002.
