Scott Schmidt

Scott Schmidt has extensive experience in the chemical industry, with a focus on research and development. Scott started their career as a Scientist at Atofina in 2002 before moving to Arkema Inc in 2005, where they held various roles including Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist. In 2008, they became the Senior Research Scientist & New Business Development Leader, responsible for global commercial development efforts. In 2010, Scott joined H.B. Fuller as a Research Chemist and later took on roles such as Technical Section Manager and Global Manager, Emerging Hot Melt Technology. Scott'smost recent position at H.B. Fuller was as the Global Product Director, Packaging. Throughout their career, Scott has been involved in product development, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

Scott Schmidt completed their BA in Chemistry at Augsburg University from 1991 to 1995. From 1996 to 2002, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry, specializing in Polymers, at the University of Minnesota.
