Jim Wang

Jim Wang has a diverse work experience in the finance and investment industry. Jim started their career as an intern at Capital Today Group, where they gained exposure to the Chinese market and worked on investment opportunities. Jim then joined Rodman & Renshaw LLC as a Senior Associate, focusing on China-related corporate financing transactions. Jim was involved in numerous successful deals, raising over $1.3 billion for Chinese companies listed on NYSE/NASDAQ. In 2012, Jim moved back to China during a downturn and launched a VC/PE Fund in Shanghai, specializing in cross-border Sino-US investments. Jim utilized their extensive knowledge in Listco structure, legal documentation, and navigating Chinese regulations. Most recently, Jim rejoined some former colleagues at H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC as Vice President, where their team has consistently ranked number one in registered direct/PIPE/CMBO transactions since 2014.
