Norman Yun has extensive experience in the financial industry. Norman started their career in 2006 at Louis Capital Markets, where they worked as an Institutional Equity and Derivatives Sales Trader. In this role, they covered global multi-strategy and sector focused hedge funds and institutional volatility/exotics traders. Norman also brokered various options, swaps, and equities in different sectors.
In 2010, Norman joined Summer Street Research Partners as a Senior Vice President Institutional Sales & Trading. In this hybrid role, they were responsible for building relationships with clients by providing research, analysis, news, insight, and other value-added services. Norman also acted as a sales trader, bridging the gap between buy-side traders, investment teams, and salesmen/analysts.

Norman Yun obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics & Statistics with a double major in Economics from Stony Brook University, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. In 1994, they briefly studied International Economics at the University of Melbourne. Before their university education, Norman attended Tappan Zee High School; however, no specific dates or degrees were mentioned for this period. In terms of certifications, Norman obtained the Series 4 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in April 1998. Subsequently, they acquired the Series 7 certification in January 2006, the Series 63 certification in August 2008, the Series 3 certification in June 2010, and finally, the Series 55 certification in November 2010, from the same institution.
