Hamza Usmani

Hamza is a Principal in H.I.G. Capital’s San Francisco office.

Hamza is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including originating, structuring, and executing transactions as well as working with portfolio companies and their management teams to improve growth and profitability. He currently serves on the board of directors of multiple H.I.G. portfolio companies.

Hamza has more than a decade of experience in private equity and M&A and has worked with companies in a variety of industries, with a focus on technology and business services sectors. Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital, Hamza worked for Jefferies in the Investment Banking group, where he advised clients on M&A transactions, capital raises and other strategic initiatives.

Hamza received his undergraduate degree, in Computer Science and Economics, from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
