Sahan Fernando is an accomplished professional in the fields of information security and organizational leadership, serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and a member of the Board of Directors for Health-ISAC. With extensive experience in various leadership roles at Intrinium, including VP of IT and Information Security Services, Director of Managed Services, and Director of Managed Security, Sahan has demonstrated expertise in managing technology and security initiatives. Previously, Sahan held the position of Chief Information Officer/Chief Information Security Officer at Blue Mountain Credit Union and contributed as an Assistant Coach at Gonzaga University. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Change Leadership and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems, both from Gonzaga University.

Health-ISAC (Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center), is a global, non-profit, member-driven organization where health sector stakeholders join a trusted community and forum for coordinating, collaborating and sharing vital physical and cyber threat intelligence and best practices with each other. Members use this information to extend their security operations team and to create situational awareness, inform risk-based decision-making and mitigate against threats. Membership is open to public & private hospitals, ambulatory providers, health insurance payers, pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturers, laboratory, diagnostic, medical device manufacturers, medical schools, medical R&D organizations and other relevant health sector stakeholders. Member organizations become more resilient by working together, benefiting the entire health sector and its vital role in critical infrastructure worldwide.
