Spenser Alpern has extensive experience in the garment industry, serving as the CEO of HMS Productions, Inc. since 1986, which manufactures ladies' clothing under various labels including "SPENSE," "CABLE AND GAUGE," and "NUBBY." The company designs and sells from New York, NY, with production primarily in China's Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces. Prior to this, Spenser worked as a Nurse's Aide at Chestnut Lodge from June 1979 to January 1981 before transitioning to the fashion sector. Spenser holds a degree from Georgetown University, completed between 1975 and 1979.
