Ellen Pimentel is a seasoned ecologist with extensive experience in plant ecology and restoration. Currently serving as a Senior Plant Ecologist at H. T. Harvey & Associates since October 2014, Ellen has previously held roles at AECOM as a Restoration Ecologist/Botanist and as a Private Contractor at Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge, where responsibilities included invasive plant management and rare plant monitoring. Ellen’s early career includes positions as a Seasonal Botanist at Redwood National Park and Natural Resources Management Corporation, along with rare plant survey work for Green Diamond Resource Company. Ellen holds a Master of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Humboldt State University.
