Ryan Hegstad has experience working as a Senior Restoration Ecologist and ISA-Certified Arborist at H. T. Harvey & Associates since March 2018. Prior to that, Ryan obtained a Master of Science degree in Ecology, Evolution, Systematics, and Population Biology from the University of Montana. Ryan also worked as a Residential Intern and Plant Nursery Coordinator at Turtle Island Restoration Network and as a Field Technician at the University of Montana. Ryan has a strong theoretical knowledge of ecology and evolution, with a focus on plant population dynamics. Additionally, Ryan served as a Student Lab Assistant at UC Santa Cruz while completing their Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences.
