Sharon Kramer

Sharon Kramer is a Senior Marine Ecologist and Principal at H. T. Harvey & Associates since May 2007, specializing in the environmental effects of renewable marine energy projects such as tidal, wave, and offshore wind energy, including associated permitting processes. With a background in federal service and marine biology, Sharon has developed expertise in marine renewable energy siting, environmental research, mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance. Previous experience as a Fisheries Biologist at the National Marine Fisheries Service involved developing habitat conservation plans and acting as a liaison between research labs and regional offices. Academic credentials include a PhD in Marine Biology from UC San Diego, a Master's degree in Zoology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a Bachelor's degree in Aquatic Biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
